HOW TO MAKE A VIDEO

You should
- Appear in the video and show your true self to your potential students
- Keep your video short (max 4 minutes)
- Speak clearly and enunciate all words
- Record your video keeping the phone horizontal
- Put your camera/mobile phone on the level with your eyes and look into the camera/mobile phone
- Put the camera/mobile phone on a stable surface or use a tripod to keep the video still
You shouldn't
- Use copyrighted music or any media for which you do not have the rights
- Provide students with personal information
- List services other the one at hand (teaching a specific subject)

Other dos and don'ts
- Use natural light or a powerful lamp lighting from the front
- Don't record at night with poor lighting
- Use quiet surroundings and speak in a clear voice - use a microphone if you can
- Do not record the video with loud background noise. If using a microphone, don't have it too close or too far away from your mouth
- Use a clean and tidy study room or classroom as background for your video
- Do not record the video in a chaotic background or with people or things moving in it
