My name is Lucia and I am from Romania. I was born in Transylvania and then moved to the capital city, Bucharest. My biggest passion is traveling around the world. I have visited 12 countries already and I fell in love with lots of places. I enjoy discovering new cultures, traditions, but more than that I absolutely love discovering new dishes and ingredients. I studied English and French language and literature in university and received my BA with the highest mark in 2008. I started working as a pre-school English teacher the same year. The following year I started teaching in state schools in Bucharest and in a few years I became head of languages department in the school I was working for. In 2015 I became a freelance language trainer. I received my CELTA certificate that same year, followed by the CELTYL the following year. I have been teaching all ages and level and I have prepared students for their Cambridge exams, which they passed with the highest marks. In 2018 I received my Certificate in Advanced Methodology and in 2019 I received my Teacher Trainer Certificate and I have work as a teacher trainer as well since then.

I am a very active and fun person and I want this for my lessons as well. I like to have fun, interactive lessons for my students. I always try to discover who my students are and what their learning needs are so that I can create useful and meaningful lessons for them. I am easy going and I like to make my students feel comfortable and motivated during the lessons. I enjoy having conversations and making everything seem very easy and fast to understand.
